Late post but oh well

Ok so it has been awhile since I updated this. It is that time of year where parents minds go out the window and is completely consumed with SANTA!!! So here is what happened the rest of November. Daxton turned 5 and we had a great little party for him. He is so into cops and fireman so we had a fireman themed party and he had a blast. He invited a couple of kids from his school and got a lot of great things from them all. At the last minute we asked Cliffs sister (she works on the ambulance and fire for AF City) if she could get the firetruck to come to the house so the kids could see it and play on it for a little bit. They got to play on it get pictures on it play with the lights and sirens. It was great. He loved his birthday, he is already asking for the same party next year. Now it is almost my birthday (28) and Christmas time. I can not believe that it is that time already I feel like we haven't even started on Christmas.... So I will post some pic of Daxtons party and I will update this after Christmas (when I can breath again)...

November 2008

Well November started off with a bang. The first weekend of November my family came up to do family pictures. It was the first time in like 10 years we have had pictures done. My brothers and sister and I planned this out to surprise my mom. It worked pretty well. My mom was so surprised and so happy. We had a lot of fun. It was so nice to have my WHOLE family here it meant so much. We just got the pictures back and I am posting them here for you all to see. More that happened was Kaysen started walking. We thought he would never walk, he did this half crawl on his knees it was so cute. He has been walking along the couches and tables for like 6 months and so we thought he would have walked forever ago, but didn't. All of the sudden he just stood up and started to go and hasn't really stopped since. I wil post some pictures of him walking too. More about the rest of the month later...

The end of October...

Ok, so October was a little less busy than September, but that doesn't mean it wasn't busy at all. Daxton had crazy week at school. Monday was Western Day and he took his cowboy hat and Sheriff badge. Tuesday was pajama day and he wore his camo PJ's. Wednesday was crazy hair day, Cliff did his hair all crazy and he loved it. Thursday was Halloween Costume day. Daxton decided he wanted to wear his Spider-man Costume (he was a firefighter for Halloween). He had a blast. Raegan had a Halloween parade at her school, on Halloween. They were able to dress-up (kind of) and go from class to class showing off their costumes. The parents, brothers and sister and grandparents were invited to watch. Cliff had to work so I took Daxton, Addisyn and Kaysen to watch her and everytime they saw Raegan they started yelling at her, they loved it. Then came Halloween night. We started getting ready at about 4. I got to do Raegans Make-up, she was a ghostly witch. Daxton was a firefighter, Addisyn was a mummy (she wouldn't let us put anything on her other than the jammies that look like a mummy), and Kaysen was a froggy. They all looked great. By the time we were all dressed and ready to go Cliff made it home and we started our Halloween night. First stop was the High School for Haunted Hallways. They had all the class rooms set up for kids ages 1-12, a younger version of a Haunted House. It was really cute. They got candy and went through all the rooms and had a really good time. Then we went over to the church for Trunk or Treat. The parking lot was full of cars for trunk or treating. They filled their buckets with candy and saw Grandma Painter there. We finally made it home and had some Home made Chicken Noodle Soup...YUMMY!!! That was our Halloween now its November and it has already started off Busy... HAPPY BIRTHDAY Grandma Smith... Here are some pictures of Halloween.....

Kids Pictures

October...

October came so fast I just realized that we are almost half way through the month. We have been so busy with the kids we barely have time to breath. We have been spending a lot of time with friends and family. We have had a couple of BBQs here at our house and been to a couple over at friends houses. A lot of fun. The kids love to play with all the kids and the adults love to sit and catch up.
Raegan had a Fall Festival at her school on the 10th and we all went. Grandma and Grandpa Painter came and brought the kids cousins with them. Raegan got her hair colored pink with sparkles and a butterfly painted on her cheek. She loved it. All the kids got to play all the games and had a lot of fun. As we were leaving Daxton saw a cop right by the door and went over to talk to him. We told the officer that Daxton loves cops and the cop went out to his car and got a pin on badge for Dax and Raegan. Daxton is in HEAVEN!! He loves that badge so much he sleeps in it.
On Saturday the 11th, I got to go to the BYU Football game with my mother-in-law and sister-in-law. We had a blast. We were so close to the field it was crazy. It was my first football game (except for high school games). I had so much fun and hope that we can do it again. Thats all so far. Lets see what the rest of the month holds.

The rest of September...

The rest of September went well. Daxton started preschool again and loves it. Its a lot different not having my mom as their teacher. He has been having a lot of fun and I hope that he can learn a lot more. Nothing else too big happened in September (thank heavens), September is such a busy month for us, I am glad that it is over now we get to look forward to December, another busy month for us.

September so far....

Well September has started off fast and furious. Raegan celebrated her 6th birthday on the 10th and we had a family party for her. She got everything that she wanted and more. She had a party with all her friends on the 13th. Since she had already got what she wanted she got so much stuff that she didn't need, but loves more than anything.
Kaysen celebrated his 1st birthday on the 21st (Uncle Todds birthday). Just a year ago the doctors told us to expect the worst and we thought that he was not going to be with us anymore and now look at him you would never know that he had problems when he was born. I can not believe that my baby is 1 my last baby is 1 its so surreal. Grandma and Grandpa Smith came up to spend it with him, we had a family lunch and opened presents. He got some cute clothes and toys that he loves.
Cliff and I celebrated our 7 year anniversary on the 22nd. Time flies when you are in love I guess. I can't be that I have had this wonderful man in my life for this long. ( man am I lucky). I have loved every minute that I have been able to spend with him and can't wait for the years to come.
On the Sunday the 21st Addisyn ended up in the Emergency Room. (Happy birthday Kaysen) Just kidding. We were out front of our house talking to some neighbors and Addisyn was running around playing, she tripped and fell on a pipe sticking out of our grass. She got a gash above her left eyebrow and ended up with 3 stitches. That is the worst thing I have been through in a long time. Having to hold her down so the Doctor could put the stitches in was so hard to do. She is doing great now and tells me all the time that her band aid hurts. Its really cute.
Well thats all so far for September, we still have a couple more days so lets see what the rest of the month holds for us.

August 2008

A little update on the Painter family. We moved to American Fork, Ut, the first part of August. Cliff got an amazing job offer from a Web company in Provo and we could not turn it down. It was the best decision we have made. Addisyn celebrated her 2nd birthday in Kanab with my parents 2 days before we moved. Cliff was not able to be there he was living up in AF already. We had more problems then we needed to have with the moving truck and our house being ready, but we made it here and we love it. I wouldn't change this for the world. We live right around the corner from Grandma and Grandpa Painter and the kids are loving that. They miss Grandma and Grandpa Smith like crazy and talk about them all the time, but luckily they come and visit often so they love the visits. Raegan started Kindergarten the last week of August. She is the morning class with Mrs. Bird. She has made so many friends we have not had enough weekends to have them all over yet. Well that sums up August next is September yeah!!! Lets see if September can be a little less busy!!! HAHAHAHA
